Debate, Malacca (FUN!!!), and tomorrow...intervensi T.T
Anyways i don't think anybody is going to study for tomorrows intervensi..complete waste of time but good effort by the education ministry though.
Just came back from Malacca and it was one great trip with the wonderful homestay concept..I think i shall elaborate on that in my next post when i get the pictures..
But now to debate..Haha
Nothing much to talk..
Lost in the quarterfinals to SMK Sri Permata..ish
We were so confident about moving in to the semis until the judge said
"The motion for today which is 'First World Countries Should Accept Environmental Refugees'...FALLS"
THat was devastating as the government side..But nobody to blame here, i felt it was a good debate considering the one hour that we only HAD to prepare for it
It was a good experience though..endless discussions in Joshua's house on Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday.
In fact, Josephine, Annabelle and myself slept over and discussed like mad people all the way till the wee hours of two in the morning O.O
Thats what happens what you get sickening topics to debate on like
'Should voluntary active euthanasia be legallised' or
'Should animal experimentation for human benefit be banned' or
'Should developmental aid be linked to reduction in emissions'
I mean, what the hell??
Those subjects are so controversial, so knowledge-oriented, etc
Nevertheless kudos and thanks to my great teammates, Joshua(2nd speaker) , Josephine(whip speaker), and Annabelle(reserve and great researcher).
Here are a few pictures,
Josephine apparently watching Joshua chucking something into his bag
Joshua talking with Annabelle about something i don't remember..haha
My hectic 'workdesk'
